Senior Copyright Attorney

We are working with a growing Fortune 500 technology company, a leader in their space, to recruit an experienced copyright attorney to join our growing trademark and copyright legal team. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide array of copyright issues associated with their cutting-edge cloud-based business offerings. Additionally, familiarity and experience with trademark clearance, prosecution, and enforcement issues is a strong plus.

The successful candidate for this position will be well-versed in all aspects of copyright law as they apply to the technology sector, and will have significant experience with music, video and image licensing. You must be self-motivated, creative, and detail oriented, with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment and quickly distill complex legal concepts into practical business guidance.

Responsibilities Include

• Manage music, video, image, and other copyright licensing efforts across the company.
• Provide copyright counseling to product and engineering teams.
• Provide copyright clearance support to corporate marketing, real estate and other teams.
• Manage incoming and outgoing DMCA takedown program.
• Monitor and advise on emerging worldwide copyright issues.
• Support the litigation team in any copyright litigation efforts.

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to the bar with current standing in the state in which the position will be located.
• 5-10 years of relevant copyright and music licensing experience.
• Familiarity with trademark law a plus.
